In anticipation of the summer season, NH The Lord Charles's favourite eatery is open for dinner every night.
With its graceful, uncluttered interior, inviting ambiance and sumptuous buffets, the Garden Terrace is a firm favourite with local and foreign guests alike. The menu changes daily to offer only the freshest ingredients and includes local and international fare.
The Dinner Buffet will continue this tradition of fine food and a great atmosphere with a different theme every night as well as live background music on Friday and Saturday evenings. The menu will rotate weekly.

Broccoli, Sundried Tomato & Chicken Green Curry
This month’s recipe comes from Bernard Steyn, Executive Chef of NH The Lord Charles. Bernard describes it as “possibly my favourite pasta dish”, adding that it has been the patrons’ dish of choice on the menu of just about every establishment he’s cooked for – including La Vigna at NH The Lord Charles.

- Mr M.M.M. Lewis, a Platinum Member of the NH The Lord Charles Executive Club, is the winner of last month’s Club Members Draw. Mr Lewis wins a breakfast for two at either NH The Lord Charles or NH Plettenberg Bay.
- Anthea Williams of the University of Cape Town is the winner of our August newsletter competition. Anthea won an Afternoon Tea for Two in the Lounge of NH The Lord Charles by answering the question: “Name one of Green Initiatives that NH is implementing in its drive for sustainable, planet-friendly hospitality.”

We have a new frontrunner in our NH The Lord Charles WIN A TRIP TO BELGIUM Conference Incentive competition! This month’s leader board sees last month’s top 2 contenders being pushed down to 2nd and 3rd place respectively, with Renée Bossenger of Conference Coordinators snatching the Number 1 position.

WTC Den Haag in the Prinsenhof
From 2012, the Prinsenhof office complex in
The Hague, home to the NH Den Haag, will feature a World Trade Centre, which will also host a conference centre.
The development of the conference centre, a collaboration between Bouwinvest, (the owner of the office complex) and NH Hoteles, is in its advanced stage. When completed, the conference centre will boast different areas for diverse purposes, with the largest room having a capacity of 300 people.
NH is thrilled with the arrival of the WTC in The Hague and looks forward to showcasing its expertise in the conference and business tourism field at this exciting new venue. |
